Division 02 · Flagship

Real assets. Real transition.

ARETEUM Infrastructure invests its own capital in utility-scale photovoltaics and industrial battery storage. We are a principal investor — not a fund manager — and we underwrite every project on our own balance sheet. Our current flagship project in central Germany combines a PV system above 1 MWp with a 4,072 kWh / 1,500 kW grid-connected battery, scheduled for commissioning in 2026.

§ I — Investment Lifecycle

Four stages. One underwriting standard.

Most energy-transition platforms specialise in a single stage. ARETEUM Infrastructure operates the full lifecycle in-house — which is how we control quality, cost basis, and the alignment of cash flows with investor capital.

  1. 01

    Origination

Proprietary site sourcing, grid-capacity screening, zoning pre-checks, and commercial option structuring with landowners and municipalities.

    Ø 6–12 months

  2. 02

    Structuring

Project-level SPV setup, debt/equity architecture, PPA and offtake negotiation, regulatory approvals, and fund/club-deal structuring under Lux or German vehicles.

    Ø 9–18 months

  3. 03

    Execution

EPC tendering, construction oversight, commissioning, and grid connection. Tier-1 component policy; fixed-price, date-certain contractors only.

    Ø 9–14 months

  4. 04

    Asset Operation

Technical and commercial asset management, performance monitoring, merchant-price hedging, and quarterly investor reporting for the full 25-year operating horizon.

    20–25 years

§ II — Asset Classes

Where we deploy capital.

Asset Class 01Core

Utility-Scale PV

Greenfield and late-stage development sites of 20–200 MWp across DE, IT, ES, PL, and NL. Fixed-tilt and single-axis tracker systems with Tier-1 modules.

Asset Class 02Growth

Industrial Storage

Grid-connected battery energy storage systems (BESS), 10–200 MWh, co-located or standalone. Revenue stack: ancillary services, arbitrage, capacity markets.

Asset Class 03Hybrid

Hybrid Parks

Co-located PV + BESS assets sharing grid connection, O&M and SCADA. Structurally higher utilisation and superior merchant resilience.

Asset Class 04Specialty

Agri-PV

Dual-use arrays over permanent crops and grazing land — delivering agricultural yield and electricity from the same hectare.

Asset Class 05Structuring

PPA Structuring

Corporate power-purchase agreements of 8–15 years with investment-grade offtakers, de-risking merchant exposure.

Asset Class 06Exploratory

Selected Specialties

Floating PV, rewetted-peatland systems, and sealed-surface installations (car parks, logistics roofs).

Figures reflect current technical planning and are subject to final grid-connection authorisation and EPC contract. All capital is deployed from ARETEUM own funds. The project is not a financial product and is not offered to external investors.

§ IV — EU ESG Alignment

The European frameworks we voluntarily align with.

European Green Deal
Climate-neutral EU by 2050 — our capital contributes to that trajectory
Fit for 55 package
−55 % net GHG by 2030
REPowerEU
Renewables acceleration & energy sovereignty
Renewable Energy Directive (RED III)
42.5 % renewables share by 2030
EU Taxonomy — climate mitigation
Voluntary alignment under §§ 4.1 (solar) & 4.10 (storage)
EU Battery Regulation (2023)
Full sustainability & carbon-footprint compliance
Expected CO₂e avoided
~ 400 t / year
Principle
Strict ESG discipline applies even though we manage no third-party capital

§ V — Frequently Asked

The questions we are usually asked.

Who funds these projects?
ARETEUM Infrastructure invests its own capital. There is no external fund, no investor mandate, no fundraising. Every project is underwritten by the partners of the group on the group balance sheet. We are currently not seeking external capital.
What makes a site eligible for investment?
Hard screening criteria: secured grid-connection capacity, clear zoning, credible EPC pricing, a 25-year yield model resilient to reasonable downside scenarios, and a location we would personally stand behind. Projects that do not meet every criterion are declined, not reworked.
Which technologies and jurisdictions?
Utility-scale photovoltaics and industrial battery storage (BESS). Germany is our home market and the focus of current investment activity; we selectively evaluate opportunities elsewhere in the European Union where regulatory visibility supports a 20-year commitment.
Do you co-invest or partner with anyone?
Yes — but only on strategic, operational terms: landowners contributing a site, municipalities participating in a community project, EPC and O&M partners, and in rare cases a co-developer on a single asset. We are not open to financial co-investors.
How do you handle merchant-price risk?
Each asset is structured with a layered revenue stack designed to survive low-price cycles: regulated tariff or contract-for-difference where available, a long-dated corporate PPA of 8–15 years covering the majority of generation, and a controlled merchant tranche capped to protect base-case cash flows.
How do we get in touch?
If you are a landowner, municipality, EPC, or strategic partner with a concrete opportunity — write to info@infrastructure.areteum.eu. For general enquiries, the group contact form is the right channel.

§ VI — Partnership & enquiries

Partners, municipalities, landowners.

We are not seeking external investors. If you own a site, represent a municipality, operate as an EPC or O&M partner, or have a concrete strategic proposal — this is the right channel. Other enquiries will be redirected.
